Billing terms & conditions
This page summarises how billing works. It supplements our Payment policy, Terms of service and Refund policy.

2. Encrypted connection (TLS/SSL)
The whole site and checkout are served over HTTPS, so your details are encrypted between your browser and the checkout.
3. PCI compliance
Card details are entered in Stripe’s embedded checkout. Stripe is a PCI DSS Level 1 payment provider; full card details are handled by Stripe, not stored by efcarpet.
4. Payment terms
Payment is taken in full when you place your order. We do not add card surcharges.
5. Your payment information
Stripe handles payment information. Order and checkout records may include your contact details, billing and delivery addresses, payment status and limited payment-method information, but not your full card number.
6. Refunds and declined payments
A declined payment does not complete a paid order. Your bank may show a temporary authorisation; contact your bank if it does not clear. Refunds go to the original payment method; see the Refund policy for timescales.
