1. Definitions

“We”, “us” and “efcarpet” refer to M.I.H. CONSULTANCY SERVICES LTD, trading as efcarpet. “You” means the consumer buying from us. “Goods” means the products shown on this website.

2. Acceptance of terms

By placing an order you agree to these terms. Nothing in them affects your statutory rights.

3. Use of our website

You may use this website for personal shopping only, and must not misuse it, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or interfere with its operation.

4. Products and prices

We describe goods as accurately as possible; colours and finishes may vary slightly on screen. Prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable. If there is an obvious pricing error we will tell you before accepting your order.

5. Orders, contract formation, changes and cancellations

Your order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we email to confirm dispatch. You can change or cancel before dispatch by contacting us, and after delivery under your 14-day cancellation right — see our cancellation form.

6. Payment and title

Payment is taken when you order. Ownership passes to you once we receive full payment. See our Payment policy.

7. Shipping and delivery

Delivery is free on every UK order. Times and process are in our Shipping policy. Risk passes to you on delivery.

8. Returns, refunds and exchanges

30-day returns on unused items, no restocking fees. See our Refund policy.

9. Warranty

Any manufacturer’s warranty supplied is additional to your statutory rights; terms vary by product. See Warranty & replacement.

10. Intellectual property

The content and design of this website belong to us or our licensors and may not be copied without permission.

11. User content

If you send us photos or comments, you confirm you have the right to share them and allow us to use them to deal with your enquiry.

13. Limitation of liability

We are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or where it would be unlawful to do so. We are not liable for business losses.

14. Your responsibility and safe use of the equipment

Follow the manufacturer’s assembly, installation and safety instructions. Garage lifts must be installed on suitable ground by a competent person; kayaks should be used with a buoyancy aid; pergolas and sheds must be anchored as instructed and may need permission under local planning rules.

15. Third-party links

We are not responsible for the content of websites we link to.

16. Payment providers

Payments are processed by third-party providers under their own terms; we do not store your card details.

17. Force majeure

We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control; we will tell you and you may cancel for a full refund if the delay is significant.

19. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may bring proceedings in your local courts.

20. General provisions

If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest remains in force. We may transfer our rights to another business; your rights will not be affected.
